I spent a good 2 hours last night trying to set up my HDTV. Not bad, but it looks like I need to buy some new connector so that Tivo can read the HD channels, that took me about 1 hour to determine. Then I kept moving the antenna around to try and get the same good reception I got when I first scanned the channels, haven't gotten it yet. Is nothing simple?

I've been dealing with a cold that I thought was on the wan, but had to take nyquil to stop coughing and get to sleep last night. Boo cold! Between that and a twisted ankle from soccer two weeks ago, I'm hosting a pitty party and just want to stay in bed.

But I have been working through my fiber stash. I love this tweedy yarn:

I still have about 1/2 of the batt left, so plenty of spinning to do! I really like the look of this 3 ply it really does even out the inconsistent thickness of my yarn. I think this is destined to become a cowl or a scarf for me.

I'm also starting back up on some knitting projects I put aside for while making gifts. I have the bottom panel of my Weekend Getaway Bag for my Metro knitting. Once that is done, it's just the back panel, felting and assembly. So it should be done in about a year.

that fiber looks like food, like eggwhites whipped for meringue!
